Sarah & Jean

This one was very special to me. Sarah and Jean are dear friends and happen to have such good style (being French must have its perks ;) ) so I really was thrilled to be a part of their day. They got married at Oaks Church Brooklyn, had the most fun send off I’ve seen to date, then had a delicious dinner reception and disco dance party at Sunday in Brooklyn, in Williamsburg.

They paid attention to all of the details and honored all of the people in their lives so well. They came to me with the idea of the color palette which felt so unique – whites, but not really, pastels, but not exactly. A subtle mix of gentle ivories, champagne, light blue, a soft gold. The late summer flowers of antique lacecap hydrangea, dahlias, and cosmos, mixed with a more refined touch from garden roses and lisianthus really got us to a sweet place where it all sort of clicked to create a modern garden feel. This has a special place in my heart.
